Beckham back to action in LA

Los Angeles Galaxy star midfielder David Beckham is back in training for the Major League Soccer club after a sprained left ankle and hopes to play in Sunday\'s game at Colorado. The English midfielder has not played for the defending MLS champions since injuring his ankle in a 2-0 victory over Vancouver on 1 September. The Galaxy have already clinched a berth in November\'s MLS championship play-offs. \"It\'s better,\" Beckham said of his injury. \"Still a little bit of discomfort but it\'s good to be back on the field. Trying to get my fitness back. Hopefully I can get out on the field and stay fit this week and be involved.\" Beckham, 37, has scored seven goals, the best total of his MLS career, and has set up nine others in 21 games this season for the Galaxy, 15 wins and 11 losses, with four draws. \"This injury came at a tough time for me,\" Beckham said. \"I was enjoying playing, scoring goals, and that was a disappointing moment.
