German defender Jerome Boateng admitted on Thursday he regrets the booking against Holland which rules him out of his side’s final Euro 2012 Group B game against Denmark. Having already been booked in the opening win over Portugal, the Bayern Munich star picked up his second yellow of the tournament for taking too long with a throw-in in Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Holland. “There is not much I can do about the yellow card and the suspension,” said Boateng. “It was a tough game against the Dutch, we stood up well to them in certain situations, but it was hard work and very tiring.” From gulftoday
