Copenhagen hold lead, Nordsjaelland follow

FC Copenhagen maintained their nine-point lead at the top of the Superliga after two early goals saw them to a 2-0 victory over Randers FC. Andreas Cornelius put the league leaders ahead in the 11th minute before Ragnar Sigurdsson doubled their advantage in the 25th minute. Copenhagen, who were denied a fourth consecutive league title by FC Nordsjaelland last season, failed to add to their advantage but it mattered little as they comfortably held on for victory. Defending champions Nordsjaelland ensured Copenhagen\'s points lead did not stretch to double figures after a 3-0 win at home to Brondby, who slumped to the bottom of the table.
