Guangzhou R&F and Beijing Guoan both missed the chance to go top of the Chinese Super League as they failed to win. Guangzhou went down 2-1 at Dalian Aerbin to remain two points behind leaders Guangzhou Evergrande, who have a game in hand, in third. Gustavo Canales put Dalian ahead in the 49th minute and, even though Rafael Coelho levelled in the 52nd minute, Wang Hongyou grabbed the winner two minutes later. Beijing moved into second with a goalless draw at home to bottom side Qingdao Jonoon, but it still left them a point off top spot. Elsewhere, Changchun Yatai beat Shanghai Shenhua thanks to goals from Weldon and Zhang Wenzhao. Sjoerd Ars and Wang Xinxin were on target as Tianjin Teda won 2-0 at Henan Jianye, while Zhang Jingyang scored the only goal of the game as Liaoning edged out Shandong Luneng. FIFA .
