Eredivisie leaders AZ Alkmaar were crushed 5-1 by Heerenveen today. Bas Dost opened the scoring for Heervenveen in the 14th minute, but Jozy Altidore brought the leaders level six minutes later. However, Rajiv Van La Parra made it 2-1 in the 31st minute and two goals in the space of three minutes early in the second half from Filip Djuricic and Ramon Zomer had the home side in the comfort zone. And, Luciano Narsingh completed the scoring to cap a bad day for the leaders at the Abe Lenstra Stadion. Goals from Sekou Cisse and Ruben Schaken guided Feyenoord to victory as they dashed PSV Eindhoven\'s hopes of joining AZ Alkmaar at the top of the table. Cisse struck four minutes before the break with Schaken sealing a 2-0 win six minutes after half-time as the Rotterdam side moved level on points with fourth-placed Ajax. FC Twente moved to within a point of second-placed PSV, after a 6-2 demolition of hosts Utrecht. Willem Janssen and Ola John both scored twice as the visitors roared into a 5-0 lead in a match which was suspended for 15 minutes midway through the second half thanks to fireworks being let off in the away stand. Peter Wisgerhof and Steven Berghuis were also on target for the visitors, with Frank Demouge and Dave Bulthius netting for the hosts. Vitesse Arnhem defeated RKC Waalwijk 4-0 to consolidate seventh place. Jan-Arie van der Heijden, Valeri Kazaishvili and Stanley Aborah scored in the first half, before Wilfried Bony completed the scoring from the penalty spot just before the hour mark.
