Eintracht Frankfurt maintained their unbeaten record at the Waldstadion, but they missed the chance to move to within two points of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga by only drawing 1-1 with struggling Greuther Furth. Alexander Meier gave Frankfurt the lead in the first minute, but they were unable to add to that early strike and Zoltan Stieber levelled for the guests early in the second half. For the Bavarians, it was their fourth away game of the season without defeat with six of their seven points now arriving on their travels as they moved off the foot of the table above Augsburg. Meier regained his place at the top of the Bundesliga scoring charts by giving Frankfurt a dream start with a goal in the first minute. The league\'s most prolific midfielder first gave Sebastian Rode the chance to score, but his shot was saved by Max Grun with the ball falling back out for Meier to score for himself from the edge of the area after just 25 seconds. Takashi Inui squandered the chance to make it two in the 12th minute after being put through on goal by Meier, but he was unable to beat Grun with only the Furth custodian left to beat. After recovering from the initial shock, Furth started to play their way back into the game and Gerald Asamoah missed a chance to bring them level when he could not quite bring the ball under control to get in a decent shot on Kevin Trapp\'s goal. Olivier Occean then threw away a good chance against his former club when he stumbled and let the ball get away from him when he too would only have had Grun to beat. Former Frankfurt player Prib then set up Stieber for the next in a series of one-on-ones, and he made no mistake with his, lobbing Trapp from the edge of the penalty area. Further grew in confidence, sensing the chance to get their second away win of the season, and Stephan Furstner\'s shot brought a good save out of Trapp. Sercan Sararer wasted the next and last chance of the game in the 86th minute, first seeing Trapp save his initial effort and then blazing the rebound over the bar.
