Juventus have acquired the full sporting rights of Italian midfielder Stefano Sturaro from Genoa, the Serie A champions announced today.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Turin giants and, as part of the agreement, Sturaro will play on loan at Genoa next season.
A statement from Juventus read: "Juventus Football Club can today confirm the signing of Stefano Sturaro from Genoa C.F.C. for an initial fee of €5.5million to be paid over three years.
"The 21-year-old midfielder, who has penned a five-year contract with I Bianconeri, will spend the 2014/15 campaign on loan at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris."
Sturaro, who came through Genoa's youth ranks, scored one goal in 16 league appearances for I Grifoni last season - his maiden Serie A campaign - as the club finished 14th in the standings.
