Corinthians are in talks to sign Colombia international forward Miguel Borja, according to the player's agent.
The 24-year-old Atletico Nacional player is seen as an ideal replacement for Gabriel Jesus, who left Palmeiras to join Manchester City in December.
"Palmeiras have made an offer to Nacional and they are having conversations," Borja's agent, Ignacio Martan, was quoted as saying by Gazeta Esportiva on Monday.
Martan added that Borja's goal was to return to Europe after his unsuccessful spell with Livorno in 2015.
"If he joins Palmeiras, it could pave the way for him going to Europe." Martan added.
Borja has scored 17 goals in 27 matches for Atletico Nacional and helped the Colombian outfit win last year's Copa Libertadores - South America's top club competition - for the first time since 1989.
