Qatar to meet Iran in World Cup qualifiers

Qatar’s senior football team held their regular training session at Jassim bin Hamad stadium of Al-Sadd sports club on Sunday. The national team is preparing to lock horns against Iran on Tuesday here in Doha in the Asian Zone qualifications for FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil. Qatar football squad on Friday played a goalless draw against hosts Bahrain in Manama picking up a valuable point in their Asian Zone 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match. “We respect the Iranians, who beat Indonesia by three clear goals. Qatar should not be overly concerned about them, though,” Striker Sebastian Soria told Qatari English daily ” Gulf Times” today.
