Scotland coach Craig Levein has left his post following a poor start in the 2014 World Cup qualifying rounds. The Scottish Football Association (SFA) announced the news on Monday in a statement. \"The Scottish FA tonight announces that Craig Levein has been relieved of his duties as Scotland National Coach,\" SFA said. \"The board of the Scottish FA has taken the decision primarily due to the disappointing results in the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 Qualifiers, which have culminated in Scotland being bottom of the group after four matches.\" Scotland now sit at the bottom of Group A with two points from four matches, which leaves them little chance to qualify for the World Cup in Brazil two years later. Levein\'s three year deal would have keep him until the summer of 2014 but was ended following a meeting of the Scottish Football Association board on Friday.
