Only ticket-holders will be allowed to attend the match between Egypt's football team Ahly and Zambia's Zesco due to be held at Suez stadium, a security source said.
In statements to MENA on Friday, the source said the Interior Ministry laid down a comprehensive security and traffic plan to secure the match.
The source said the bodies concerned with organizing the match held several meetings to ensure security and smooth traffic.
The source noted that high-tech CCTV cameras were installed inside and outside the stadium and on main roads leading to the stadium.
The source warned that legal measures would be taken immediately against any fan breaking the rules.
The source added that no cars would be allowed to be parked in the stadium vicinity.
Sappers will periodically comb the area inside and outside the stadium until the match ends, the source said.
Fixed and mobile patrols will be spread on roads leading to the stadium, the source added.
The source urged Egyptian fans to adopt a civilized attitude and avoid fanaticism to honor the name of Egypt.
