Former Manchester United favourite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is to take over for a second spell as manager at Molde, the club where he started his career.
Currently seventh in the Norwegian top flight and set to play Celtic in the Europa League on Thursday, Molde announced that 42-year-old Solskjaer had signed a three and a half year contract and would take over immediately.
He was already manager at Molde from 2011 and 2014 and led the side to two Norwegian league titles in that time.
Solskjaer was named as manager of Cardiff City at the start of 2014, but failed to keep the Welsh side in the Premier League and he was sacked after a poor start in the Championship the following season.
"I have just completed a sabbatical year and I am ready to once again to compete at the top level," he said on a video posted on the Molde club website.
"My stay at Cardiff was shorter than I had expected and had hoped."
