Sporting close gap with Feirense win

Sporting Lisbon closed the gap on the Liga Sagre\'s top two to three points with a 2-0 victory at Feirense. The visitors were helped by the dismissal of Henrique ten minutes into the second half, with Ricky van Wolfswinkel tucking away a 65th-minute penalty before Stijn Schaars added another 13 minutes from time. Rio Ave remain rooted to the foot of the table after a last-minute spot-kick condemned them to a 2-1 defeat at Guimaraes. The home side went in front after just eight minutes through Mahamadou N\'Diaye, but Joao Tomas pulled Rio Ave level before the interval. The dismissal of Vitor Gomes four minutes from time sparked Rio Ave\'s downfall, however, with Nuno Assis slotting home a penalty in the dying seconds to snatch the points. Nacional were also 2-1 winners over Beira Mar, despite playing for over half of the match with ten men following the 38th-minute dismissal of Felipe Lopes. All of the goals had been scored by then, with Mateus and Mario Rondon giving the home side a two-goal lead before Douglas replied for Nacional. The visitors also finished the match a man down, with Nuno Coelho seeing red 13 minutes from time. First-half goals from Bruno Moraes and Jorge Djaniny earned Uniao Leiria a 2-0 win over Vitoria Setubal.
