2014 IAAF Continental Cup, second edition opens in Marrakech
2014 Athletics Continental Cup

The second edition of the 2014 Athletics Continental Cup by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) kicked off on Saturday in Marrakech Grand Stadium.
The international track and field sporting event, worth 3 mln dollars, comprises 40 competitions in two days (Sept.13-14) and brings together 230 athletes worldwide.
The event includes mainly competitions in hammer throw, pole vault, triple jump, 400m hurdles, 5000m, shot put, discus throw, high jump, long jump and javelin throw.
