Bahrain to host 19th meeting of GCC Women Sport Organising Committee

Bahrain is set to host the 19th meeting of the GCC Women Sport Organising Committee which will convene on November 10 under the presidency of Shaikha Naima Al Ahmed Al Sabah. The meeting will be held on the sidelines of the 4th GCC Women's volleyball Championship which will be hosted by Bahrain from November 10 to 16.
The committee features in its membership Bahrain Olympic Committee member and Head of the Women Sport Committee Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Head of the UAE Women Sport Committee Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Head of the Qatari Women Sport Committee Ahlem Salem Al Mena and Head of the Omani Women Sport Committee Sana bint Hamad bin Saud Al Busaidiya.
The meeting will spotlight key issues pertaining to developing women's sport in the GCC countries and boosting cooperation in this regard.
