Challenge Bahrain fever building up

The Challenge Bahrain, an international triathlon championship, will be held on December6. Challenge International is organising the championship in partnership with the Nasser bin Hamad Foundation.
Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa commended efforts to ensure the success of the championship.
"These unrelenting efforts will bear fruit and ensure the success of the championship and promote Bahrain as gateway for sport events", he said. He commended the Ministry of Works, led by Essam Khalaf, for preparing the area off Bahrain Bay to host the swimming contest, stressing the importance of the world sporting event in bolstering the standing of Bahrain as triathlon hub in the Middle East. He expressed confidence in the ability of the Works Ministry to complete all required preparations according to plan so as to project Bahrain's bright image as it hosts such global sporting events.
