Hakim Ziyech to Play for Morocco in 2018 World Cup Qualifiers
Hakim Ziyech
Rabat - Arab Today
Morocco’s coach, Hervé Renard, will reportedly reintegrate AFC Ajax star, Hakim Ziyech, into the list of Morocco’s national football team players.
Ahead of Morocco’s match against Mali on August 28 in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Morocco is scheduled to play a friendly match with a team yet to be announced in March.
This friendly match could mark the presence of Ziyech after his absence in the 2017 African Cup of Nations (CAN2017), ongoing in Gabon.
Renard’s decision to rule out Ziyech from participating in CAN 2017, in which Morocco was eliminated in the quarterfinals against Egypt, sparked outrage among Morocco’s national team fans. Fans were upset with the decision, especially after Ziyech had been awarded as Holland’s best player for 2016.
In mid-January, former Netherlands striker and manager, Marco van Basten, had reproached Ziyech for deciding to play for Morocco and not waiting for his chance to be selected by the Netherlands national team.

to 'eternal style' of late Alaia
Paris - Emiratesvoice
Two months after legendary designer Azzedine Alaia's sudden death plunged the fashion world into mourning, an exhibition in homage to the "King of Cling" opens Monday in his studios in Paris. The Tunisian-born designer, renowned for the way his clothes hugged the body, died suddenly in November aged 82, reportedly of heart failure after falling down the stairs at his home. The diminutive maverick, who ignored fashion week convention by showing when and where he wanted, in July produced his first couture collection in six years to rapturous reviews. Now some of his most iconic dresses are going on display in the glass-roofed gallery next to his studio and home in the Marais district where he used to show his creations. It includes the dress worn by supermodel Naomi Campbell, his longtime friend and muse, when she led
