Hamdan bin Mohammed welcomes participants at 10th Dubai International Sports Conference

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council has welcomed the participants at the 10th Dubai International Sports Conference, which begins tomorrow under his patronage at Jumeirah City Resort in Dubai, under title "Challenges & Achievements".

This annual event has garnered some of the best and most influential minds in the industry around the world under the goal of empowering the future of football in Dubai and the region.

Sheikh Hamdan on the occasion said, 'Since the launch of the Dubai International Sports Conference in 2006, we were keen on finding solutions for all challenges facing sport and sportsmen through issues tackled by the conference as well as ways to develop the sport at the regional and international levels. One of the main objectives of the Council is to enhance professionalism, not only in the UAE but also in the region in general as the event is part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, and is deemed the international platform which gathers experts, decision-makers and those who have successful experiences in the game of football to showcase their innovative experiences and ideas."

Sheikh Hamdan reiterated, "The Dubai International Sports Conference has an outstanding stature on the map of the annual international sporting events and a hub for top sports stars and decision-makers as well as media from around the world. The event will continue to provide the best solutions and review the successful international experiences aimed at developing the game of football at local, region and international levels."

On his part, Mater Al-Tayer the Deputy Chairman of Dubai Sports Council extended thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Hamdan for his continued patronage and wise directives which have contributed to developing sports field in general and this conference in particular.

Dubai International Sports Conference has become one of the most eminent annual events in the regional and international sports agenda. The Conference has actually occupied a prestigious world status, since it deals with prominent topics and hosts elite sports stars and decision makers.
