Qatar finish third in Arab volleyball championship

The Qatari Volleyball team occupied the third place at the Arab Junior Volleyball Championship concluded on August 31 in Tunisia. The Qatari team showed a widely-praised performance to beat Yemen 3-0 (25-13 25-14 25-19) on Saturday and secure a podium place in a well-deserved way. The Qatari team will return to Doha on Tuesday and will participate in the GCC Volleyball Championship to begin in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on September 07. Ali Ghanim Al Kuwari, Board Member of the Qatar Volleyball Association (QVBA) was delighted by the Qatari new achievement and stressed that the third place at the Arab championship is a result for the QVBA plans.
