Qatar hoopsters to face Bahrain in GCC inaugural sport games

Qatar’s senior basketball team will lock horns against hosts Bahrain on October 12 at the upcoming GCC inaugural Sport Games to be held. The encounter was announced following the draw process of the GCC inaugural Sport Games which was conducted in Bahrain city of Manama on Friday, according to Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).. The prestigious GCC Games will be held from October 11 to 22 in Bahrain where athletes will compete in several sports including soccer, bowling, road cycling, swimming, basketball, handball, volleyball and endurance horseback riding. More than 1,500 GCC athletes are anticipated to compete in these games.
