Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad inaugurates Al-Reef Club

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), has inaugurated the premises of the Al-Reef Association Club, whose construction has been finished by the General Organization for Youth and Sports (GOYS), as part of GOYS keenness on constantly supporting national clubs and providing sports infrastructures. The inauguration ceremony was attended by HM the King's advisor for youth and sports affairs HE Mr. Saleh Isa bin Hindi, GOYS' secretary-general HE Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, GOYS' President HE Mr. Hisham Mohammed Al-Jowder, the club's family and a number of invitees. The club's headquarters and gymnasium hall has been constructed in consideration of BD 257,000, including volleyball arena, administrative offices, auditorium and other facilities. On this occasion, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized that this construction project bespeaks of the wise leadership's attention to boosting the welfare of youth and sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain as part of the strategy of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in terms of provision of the necessary infrastructures to develop the sports movement in the Kingdom. Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa asserted that the inauguration of the club's buidling translates the wise leadership's constant care for youth and sports in the Kingdom and to boosting the technical level of sportspeople and to realizing the aspirations of the Bahraini people and hoisting the Kingdom of Bahrain's flag at Arab, regional and international functions. Also, the chairman of the Al-Reef Association's Club, Mr. Abdullah Kadhim, expressed his utmost gratitude and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the excellent progress made in building new sports facilities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, pointing out that the new project which has been implemented by the General Organization for Youth and Sports under the presidency of Mr. Hisham Mohammed Al-Jowder meets the needs and paves the road for progress and advancement of youth and sports activities. At the conclusion of the inauguration ceremony, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received a commemorative gift from GOYS's President, Mr. Hisham Mohammed Al-Jowder; and, also received another gift from the Al-Reef Association Club's chairman.
