DJ LeMahieu went 4-for-4 and knocked in two runs Monday, sparking a 15-hit assault that carried the Colorado Rockies to a 9-6 win over Milwaukee. Carlos Gonzalez also drove in a pair, while Eric Young, Tyler Colvin and Chris Nelson each contributed an RBI as the Rockies took the opener of a three-game series. Jeff Francis (4-4) earned the victory by limiting the Brewers to three runs on six hits over 5 1/3 innings. The Canadian left-hander walked two and struck out two. Milwaukee starter Mike Fiers (6-5) lasted only two full frames, surrendering eight runs on nine hits. Rickie Weeks smacked a three-run homer and Carlos Gomez went 3-for-4 with a two-run shot for the Brewers.
