Baseball: Darvish takes 1st major league loss

Texas Rangers starter Yu Darvish got tagged for his first major league loss after allowing four runs over six innings in a 4-2 defeat to the Cleveland Indians on Sunday. Darvish (4-1) had a career-high 11 strikeouts in the majors, but the Rangers were foiled by the sun's glare after losing an infield popup as the Indians went ahead 3-0 in the third at Progressive Field. ''I wasn't getting strikes on my fastball but my other pitches were working well,'' Darvish said. ''I have experienced many losses in my lifetime, and this was the same -- a loss. So now, I just prepare for my next game.'
