Michael Morse hit two solo home runs Thursday, sparking the Washington Nationals to a 5-0 win over the Houston Astros. Morse also had a sacrifice fly for a total of three RBI and extended his major league-leading hitting streak to 18 games. Jordan Zimmerman (9-6) went six innings for the win. He struck out a career-high 11 batters and allowed three hits en route to winning his sixth consecutive decision. Washington, which has won eight its last nine games, also had RBI from Ryan Zimmerman and Adam LaRoche. The Astros had a total of five hits and were 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position. Lucas Harrell (9-8) was tagged with the loss after allowing two runs on five hits and five strikeouts.
