Gio Gonzalez hurled seven innings of one-hit ball Sunday and the Washington Nationals completed a three-game sweep with a 7-2 victory over Atlanta. Gonzalez (7-1) won his fifth straight start, dominating the Braves with 10 strikeouts while issuing three walks en route to the win. The left-hander yielded a pair of runs early in the game, including one on the only hit he allowed. Michael Bourn tripled in the third inning and scored on Tyler Pastornicky\'s squeeze bunt, putting the Braves ahead 2-0. But after that, Gonzalez was unhittable. He threw 69 of his 108 pitches for strikes while raising his major league-best strikeout total to 79. The Nationals scored a pair of runs in the fourth to tie the game and broke it open with four runs in the sixth, highlighted by Steve Lombardozzi\'s two-run double. Jesus Flores went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Bryce Harper socked a solo homer for National League East-leading Washington. Braves starter Brandon Beachy (5-3) yielded three runs (one earned) on three hits in a five-inning start, walking four and striking out seven. Atlanta fell four games behind Washington in the NL East with the loss.
