Egypt are set to kick off their Sudan training camp with a friendly against Cameroon on Sunday in preparation for their 2014 World Cup qualifier against Mozambique on 1 June. Under the helm of American coach Bob Bradley, Egypt are scheduled to play three friendlies in the upcoming days against Cameroon, Togo and Senegal on 20, 22 and 25 May respectively before kicking off their World Cup qualifying campaign. The seven-time African champions were scheduled to play the games in Morocco but were hit by a last-minute snub. Egyptian authorities refused to allow the matches to be played on home soil for security reasons, especially because presidential elections will take place on 23 and 24 May. Moreover, the friendly with Senegal is in doubt after the Morocco Football Federation announced Saturday that they will face Senegal on 24 May, one day before the latter are scheduled to play Egypt. from alahram
