France fly-half Trinh-Duc out for 3 weeks

France fly-half Francois Trinh-Duc will be out for three weeks with a sprained ankle, his club Montpellier said Monday. The international number 10, who endured a frustrating Six Nations campaign playing second fiddle to Toulon\'s Frederic Michalak, injured his ankle in Saturday\'s European Cup defeat at Clermont. He was forced off in the 27th minute of the 36-14 quarter-final reverse, to be replaced by Pierre Berard. As a result Trinh-Duc will miss Montpellier\'s next two Top 14 clashes against Toulouse and Bayonne but should be fit to face Perpignan on May 4 on the final day of the regular season. He is likely to be replaced by either Argentine international Santiago Fernandez or scrum-half Benoit Paillaugue may move from nine to 10. Montpellier currently sit fifth in the table and have a six-point advantage over seventh-placed Perpignan in the race for a top six finish and play-off spot. From: AFP
