Iranian National Boxing Team beats Selected Ukraine 4-2

Iranian National Boxing Team on Monday beat 4-2 guests, Selected Team of Ukraine in a friendly in Tehran. According to the IRNA Sports desk, in the friendly competition held at Hemmat Boxing Saloon of Martyr Shiroudi Sports Complex the hosts won the games four to two. Iman Tayyebi in minus 52 Kg, Foroutan Goalra in minus 60, Mahdi Shafi’a Ra’yat in minus 64, and Ali Mazaheri in 91 kilograms won the matches against the Ukrainian competitors in the friendly games. In minus 69 Kg Iman Qasemi could not take part in the match due to injury. The Iranian National Boxing Team and Selected Ukraine Team would on Wednesday evening compete for the second time at the same hall. Ukraine Selected Boxing Team have attended a joint practice camp as of last week and the Wednesday competition would be their last match in these games, before the two teams’ participations at international fields, such as the London 2012 Olympics.
