Jordan Danks\' first major-league homer Friday was a ninth-inning game winner for the Chicago White Sox in their 4-3 win over Oakland. Danks, the 25-year-old younger brother of White Sox pitcher John Danks, came up with two outs in the ninth against Pat Neshek (1-1) and pounded the first pitch he saw deep into the right field stands, handing a walk-off victory to the Chisox. The blow made a winner of Brett Myers (1-1), who had tossed a scoreless top of the ninth. A.J. Pierzynski, Alexei Ramirez and Dayan Viciedo also hit bases-empty homers for the American League Central-leading White Sox, who maintained their one-game lead over second-place Detroit. Brandon Moss launched a two-run homer for Oakland.
