The second one-day international between New Zealand and the West Indies was abandoned Sunday due to persistent rain. Although it was not heavy rainfall, ground officials said part of the outfield had become too wet to be readied for play in time for even a reduced 20-over match. The West Indies lead the five-match series 1-0 after winning the opening ODI in Auckland on Boxing Day by two wickets. The next game is in Queenstown on Wednesday. Source: AFP
