NFL: Baltimore 24 Indianapolis 9

Linebacker Ray Lewis returned from an injury to make 13 tackles and lead a tough Baltimore defense in the Ravens\' 24-9 playoff win over Indianapolis Sunday. Lewis -- playing for the first time since mid-October due to a torn triceps -- spearheaded a defensive effort that produced three turnovers in Baltimore\'s triumph in the AFC Wild Card round contest. Paul Kruger registered 2 1/2 of the Ravens\' three sacks of Colts signal-caller Andrew Luck and forced a fumble for Baltimore, which now goes on to play top-seeded Denver next week. Quarterback Joe Flacco fired a pair of TD passes on 12-of-23 passing efficiency en route to 282 yards, and Anquan Boldin racked up 145 receiving yards with a score on five catches in the win. Luck managed to complete 28-of-54 passes with an interception in his first-ever playoff appearance for the Colts, whose storybook comeback from a 2-14 mark last season was brought to an end. Reggie Wayne provided 114 receiving yards on nine catches while Vick Ballard rushed for 91 yards on 22 carries for Indianapolis. Frou UPI
