Real Madrid responded to the surprise defeat in Game 1 with a spectacular performance that allowed them to draw the tie. Velickovic (16 points), Llull (16 points, 25 PIR) and Suarez (10 points) were their main men in offence. Suarez and Singler played together as small forwards in the opening minutes in order to help the team pull down more rebounds than in Game 1. Caja Laboral relied on both Bjelicas replacing the injured Nocioni and Teletovic. The game started the same way as the previous encounter, with both sides defending fiercely and the visitors using their options in offence better than the Madridistas through N. Bjelica (six points) and Oleson, who banked two three-pointers (13-20, 10\'). Real Madrid woke up and started to score more, especially from the perimeter. Tomic and Reyes forced Caja Laboral to play an open game and led the Whites\' comeback in the paint. The locals dominated under the iron, making nine grabs in offence. From losing 20-25 on the 15-minute mark, they went to leading 31-29 four minutes later and Ivanovic was forced to ask for two time-outs to try to stop Real Madrid\'s impressive 11-4 run before half-time. The game\'s pace increased in the second half and Caja Laboral took the lead again thanks to five points from Oleson (36-40, 23\'). Real reacted with three swift ventures in offence and had a 10-0 run in only four minutes led by Suarez, Llull and Velickovic. However, Oleson, Teletovic and N. Bjelica managed to keep the visitors alive in the game (56-47, 31\'). N. Bjelica netted a three-pointer early in the final period (56-50), but the Madridistas soon put an end to this small gasp and Velickovic led the team with seven points of his own to seal a very important win in the series (73-64, 40\').
