Saracens lock George Kruis will not miss the start of England's Six Nations campaign after the Rugby Football Union on Tuesday banned him for three weeks over a dangerous tackle.
Kruis, capped four times by England, was cited for a tip tackle on David Halaifonua during Saracens' 24-23 defeat at Gloucester last Friday and pleaded guilty in front of an RFU disciplinary hearing in London.
The 24-year-old will miss his side's European Rugby Champions Cup games against Munster and Clermont, but will be available for England's Six Nations opener against Wales in Cardiff on February 6.
An injury crisis allowed Kruis to make his England debut during the November internationals and he featured as a replacement against New Zealand, South Africa, Samoa and Australia.
