Vonn wins 2nd Lake Louise downhill

American Lindsey Vonn won a second women\'s alpine World Cup downhill in as many days at Lake Louise on Saturday as she continued her dominance at the Canadian Rockies resort. Vonn, a four-time overall World Cup champion, notched her 28th career downhill victory and her 55th career World Cup win. That ties her for second with Vreni Schneider on the all-time women\'s list, which is headed by Annemarie Moser-Proell with 62. It was Vonn\'s 13th win overall at Lake Louise, where she swept three races last season. Vonn recovered from a mistake one-third of the way into the race which nearly had her in the safety netting. She was timed in 1min 52.90sec, and for the second straight day American Stacey Cook finished second, 52-hundredths of a second behind. Switzerland\'s Marianne Kaufmann-Abderhalden was third, 62-hundredths off the lead.
