Wiggins takes stage to extend Tour lead

British rider Bradley Wiggins extended his lead in the Tour de France on Monday after he won the ninth stage, a 41.5km time-trial from Arc-et-Senans to here. The 32-year-old Sky rider, who beat team-mate and compatriot Chris Froome to the stage win, was over a minute faster than Australia\'s defending champion Cadel Evans. Tuesday is a rest day.
