Austrian F1 GP halted after crash drama
Drivers wait for the start at the Red Bull Ring
Spielberg - Arab Today
A major accident on the opening lap brought Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix to a temporary halt as the Safety Car came out.
Finn Kimi Raikkonen in a Ferrari collided with Spaniard Fernando Alonso and their cars speared off the track in to the barriers, Alonso's McLaren Honda landing on top of the Ferrari.
Both cars were severely damaged, but both drivers were unhurt and walked clear of the debris.
For two-time champion Alonso, it was another major setback in a challenging season with the struggling McLaren-Honda team.
Raikkonen had started from 14th on the grid and was touched from the rear by Alonso's Ferrari, which started 19th, to cause the crash.
German Nico Rosberg took the lead off the grid ahead of pole-sitting Mercedes team-mate Briton Lewis Hamilton, the defending world champion and series leader.

to 'eternal style' of late Alaia
Paris - Emiratesvoice
Two months after legendary designer Azzedine Alaia's sudden death plunged the fashion world into mourning, an exhibition in homage to the "King of Cling" opens Monday in his studios in Paris. The Tunisian-born designer, renowned for the way his clothes hugged the body, died suddenly in November aged 82, reportedly of heart failure after falling down the stairs at his home. The diminutive maverick, who ignored fashion week convention by showing when and where he wanted, in July produced his first couture collection in six years to rapturous reviews. Now some of his most iconic dresses are going on display in the glass-roofed gallery next to his studio and home in the Marais district where he used to show his creations. It includes the dress worn by supermodel Naomi Campbell, his longtime friend and muse, when she led
