Former Brazil international striker Adriano admits his return to Flamengo is his last chance to revive his stalled career. Adriano, who has played just nine games in the past two years, was signed by his former club Flamengo on Tuesday after recovering from surgery on his left Achilles tendon. The 30-year-old former Inter Milan and Roma star said he is determined to put a string off-field controversies behind him and prove his worth on the pitch. "I know that I can't waste this chance because it will be the last one I get," Adriano said during a press conference in Rio on Wednesday. "I don't have to prove anything to anybody - just myself. I have to take responsibility for my actions and my errors. I won't deny that I am to blame for a lot of my mistakes. "These past two years have helped me a lot. I have to make the commitment with myself and deliver on the football pitch." Adriano, who has not played since March, trained with his new teammates on Wednesday and is expected to return to the playing field within a month. "I'm focused on training hard so that I can get back to scoring as many goals as I can," Adriano said.
