Atletico Mineiro came from behind to beat Botafogo 3-2 and go three points clear at the top of Brazil\'s Campeonato. Luiz Andrezinho\'s 36th-minute goal gave the visitors the lead but Damian Escudero levelled two minutes before half-time and Jo put the leaders ahead nine minutes after the restart. Although Andrezinho levelled with an 81st-minute penalty, substitute Neto Berola grabbed the winner a minute from time. Third-placed Vasco da Gama slipped up, losing to a 39th-minute Vagner Love goal at Flamengo. Gremio moved to within a point of Vasco with a 4-0 drubbing of bottom club Figueirense. Elano broke the deadlock and Leandro netted either side of the break, before Andre Lima wrapped up the scoring a minute from the end. Coritiba were also 4-0 winners, with Lucas Mendes, Ayrton, Roberto and substitute Anderson Aquino netting in the defeat of Cruzeiro. Atletico Goianiense moved off the bottom with a 2-1 defeat of Palmeiras, with Eron and Raylan netting either side of a Hernan Barcos goal. Santos edged Corinthians 3-2, with Andre (2) and Bruno Rodrigo on target and Danilo and Juan Manuel Martinez replying for the visitors. Portuguesa and Internacional drew 1-1 in the other game.
