Olympic cyclist Kyle Bennett\'s blood alcohol level was nearly twice the Texas legal limit when he died in a truck accident Oct. 14, an autopsy report indicated. Bennett, 33, of Conroe, Texas, a BMX bicycle racer who represented the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, died when his pickup truck crashed through an iron gate of a home, severing a natural gas line, the Conroe, Texas, Courier, reported Tuesday. Excessive speed was a factor in the accident as well, Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Jarad Gray said. The autopsy, performed by the Montgomery County Forensic Services Department, showed Bennett had a blood alcohol content of 0.145 percent, the legal limit in Texas being 0.08, the newspaper said.
