Cuban will send 10 boxers to compete at the youth world championships to be held from Nov. 25 to Dec. 8 in Erevan, Armenia, coach Humberto Horta said here Friday. Horta said their goal is to surpass the figure of 70 gold medals for the island in that kind of tournaments. The team is led by 17-year-old Yoandry Toirac (+91kilograms). Also in the squad are Alexei Guibert (56), Anyelo Morejon (81), Andy Cruz (49), Luis Oliva (60), Jorge Luis Cordero (52), Kevin Brown (64),Osnay Bencomo (69), Eduardo Dinza (75) and Herich Ruiz (91). The Caribbean island has a historical record of 113 medals (69-20-24) and has finished 11 times in the first place in the youth world championships.
