Curtains come down on Doha goals forum

Curtains came down Wednesday on the prestigious  first edition of the Doha GOALS Forum took place for two days under the higher patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani , the Emir of State of Qatar at  the Aspire Academy. The closing ceremony was attended by  the President of the Republic of Gabon Ali Bongo Ondimba,  the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, Sheikh Faisal  bin Mubarak Al Thani, the Executive Director of Doha GOALs Forum alongside a number of their Excellencies Sheikhs , Ministers, their Excellencies Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited to the State and guests . His excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Mubarak Al Thani  gave a closing   speech  and a letter of thanks  to all the attendees and guests who positively impressed by  the forum success in  achieving its goals. Sheikh Faisal also confirmed  that many goals are underway to  be achieved in the future. “ We urge all the participants to create a constructive partnership together in effort to implement all the  recommendations, the initiatives and the decisions have been taken during the productive Forum “ Added Sheikh Faisal. Richard Attias, the president of Richard  Attias & Associates lauded the organizational vision of Doha GOALS Forum, he said that all the recommendations, the decisions and the outcomes of this Forum will not be achieve unless we cooperate all in the upcoming stage.“ “ There is an ambitious strategy has been arranged to execute the objectives and the initiatives of Doha GOALS Forum by  studying all the proposals” Added Mr. Attias. For his part, HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani , the Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) stressed that the  aim behind Qatar  host for any international sport event is to develop the infrastructure and the  society . Speaking  to a session titled “ Marketing and  Sport Heritage”,  the Secretary General confirmed that  Qatar Olympic Committee plays a significant role in boosting the sport activities among all categories at both the regional and international levels. Sheikh Saoud gave a brief presentation on Qatar sport heritage, and on all international sport events to be hosted in the country in the upcoming years.
