Third-round co-leader John Daley fired a 2-under-par 68 Sunday, using a steady touch to emerge from the field and claim the Senior Players Championship. Daley, who entered the tourney with no status on the Champions Tour, outpaced a big-name field to notch a victory at the tour\'s third major event of the season. Daley finished at 14-under 266, two shots ahead of Tradition winner Tom Lehman (1-under 69). Grabbing sole possession of third place was reigning U.S. Senior Open winner Olin Browne, who registered a 5-under 65 to end at 11-under. Mark Calcavecchia, who shared the third-round lead with Daley, cooled off Sunday, stumbling to a 2-over 72. That was good for a tie with defending Players champ Fred Couples (1-over 71) at 10-under 270.
