Denmark and Czech Republic both left Copenhagen with a point after a drab, goalless affair in their opening FIFA World Cup™ qualifying Group B match. In a game bereft of chances it was the visitors who had the better opportunities, with striker Tomas Pekhart twice going close. It took 21 minutes for either side to register an effort on goal as Petr Cech had to push Daniel Wass\' 20-yard effort round the post. The visitors registered their first effort ten minutes before the break as Pekhart\'s shot was deflected wide by Stephan Andersen in the home goal. The striker had another opportunity to put his side into the lead, but from the following corner his header from six yards out fell left of the target. In an equally dull second period Nicolai Jorgensen had the only real chance to speak of in the 51st minute, but his header missed the target from six yards out. From : Fifa
