South Carolina (6-2) drops eight spots and West Virginia (5-2) seven in the biggest falls this week. Notre Dame (7-0) remains fifth, followed again by No. 6 Louisiana State (7-1) and seventh-ranked Oklahoma (5-1). Notre Dame is at Oklahoma in this week\'s marquee game. Clemson (6-1) and Louisville (7-0) are again 13th and 14th while Rutgers (7-0) is up two places to 15th. South Carolina drops from eighth to No. 16 but Texas Tech (6-1) is up three rungs to 17th, with Boise State (6-1) and Stanford (5-2) both jumping four places to 18th and 19th, respectively. Michigan (5-2) is up to No. 20. Texas A&M (6-2) is down two to 21st ahead of West Virginia, which is 22nd. No. 23 Ohio (7-0), 24th-ranked Texas (5-2) and 25th Wisconsin (6-2) were unranked last week.
