Brazilian midfielder Paulo Henrique Ganso has signed a five-year deal with Sao Paulo from league rivals Santos for €9 million ($11.7 million), his new club have confirmed. French club Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester United had also been interested in signing the player. However, the 22-year-old\'s value had dropped dramatically after the Olympic Football Tournament when he played just twice as a substitute because of injury, as Brazil finished runners-up behind suprise winners Mexico. \"Ganso no longer wanted to wear our jersey and was sold for 23.94 million Brazilian Reals to Sao Paulo,\" the selling team added.
