Igor Stimac named new Croatia coach

Former Croatia, Derby County and West Ham defender Igor Stimac has been named the new Croatia coach. Stimac replaces Slaven Bilic who takes over at Lokomotiv Moscow after leading Croatia at the European Championship. Stimac won 53 caps for Croatia and was a member of the 1998 World Cup squad that finished third. He played for Hajduk Split, Derby County and West Ham in the late 1990s.
