Iniesta set to make 400th Barcelona appearance

The attacking midfielder has so far featured in 399 official appearances for the Catalan giants, and is already among in the club\'s top ten for games played.Andres Iniesta is just one game short of making his 400th official appearance for Barcelona, and could reach the 400 mark in the away game against Levante on Saturday.The 27-year-old made his official first team debut under Louis van Gaal in October 2002 and has since developed into a key player at the Blaugranas.Iniesta has featured in 266 La Liga games, 77 Champions League matches, 40 Copa del Rey meetings, three Uefa Cup encounters, two European Super Cup games, six Spanish Supercopa matches and five Club World Cup meetings.He has recently broken into the club’s all time top ten and is just one short of Jose Ramon Alexanco and three behind Joan Segarra, who lie ninth and eight respectively.Iniesta is one of four current first team players in Barca’s top ten, alongside Xavi (who has played more than anybody with 621), Carles Puyol (second on 552) and Victor Valdes (fourth on 452).The attacking midfielder has found the net on 40 occasions for Barcelona in the past 10 years.
