Marc Marquez Wins Japanese GP, Clinches MotoGP Title
Marc Marquez
Tokyo - Arab Today
Marc Marquez has been crowned MotoGP world champion for a third time after clinching his maiden victory in a sensational Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi on Sunday.
Marquez finished the 24-lap race in 42min 34.610sec, 2.992sec ahead of Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso and 4.104sec ahead of Maverick Vinales of Suzuki.
Movistar Yamaha riders Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo both dramatically crashed out as their championship hopes evaporated, leaving Marquez clear to wrap up the premier class crown for Repsol Honda with three races remaining.
The 23-year-old also clinched the title at Honda's own circuit in 2014 and his race win and championship victory was the perfect way to mark the Japanese manufacturer's 50th anniversary of Grand Prix racing.

to 'eternal style' of late Alaia
Paris - Emiratesvoice
Two months after legendary designer Azzedine Alaia's sudden death plunged the fashion world into mourning, an exhibition in homage to the "King of Cling" opens Monday in his studios in Paris. The Tunisian-born designer, renowned for the way his clothes hugged the body, died suddenly in November aged 82, reportedly of heart failure after falling down the stairs at his home. The diminutive maverick, who ignored fashion week convention by showing when and where he wanted, in July produced his first couture collection in six years to rapturous reviews. Now some of his most iconic dresses are going on display in the glass-roofed gallery next to his studio and home in the Marais district where he used to show his creations. It includes the dress worn by supermodel Naomi Campbell, his longtime friend and muse, when she led
