Oman Football Association (OFA) has formed a Disciplinary and Appeals committee to tackle issues related to the football activities in the country. Soon after the new board under the chairmanship of Sayyid Khalid Al Busaidi held its first meeting it had then decided to form the two committees as it is part of the OFA Statutes. The Disciplinary Committee will be headed by Hamad Al Hadhrami and he will be assisted by Yousuf Al Maskeri, Mohammed Al Mousawi and Talal Al Saadi while the Appeals Committee will be headed by Sheikh Ibrahim Al Hosni and he will be assisted by Jamal Al Nabhani, Hamad bin Ali Al Brashadi and Fahad Al Farsi. The two committees hold importance especially after the three clubs violated Statutes and took the football matters to local courty. The Appeal Committee has the right to consider appeals against decisions taken by the Disciplinary Committee. Times of Oman
