Inter Milan have completed the signing of Porto winger Alvaro Pereira, according to the Italian club\'s official website. Yesterday the Portuguese outfit confirmed to the stock market the sale of the Uruguay international to I Nerazzurri for a fee of €10 million. And today the versatile 26-year-old, who can also play at left-back, spoke of his delight ahead of finalising his transfer to the San Siro. Quoted on inter.it, he told reporters at Milano Malpensa airport: \"Joining Inter is a dream. You can\'t imagine how much this club is loved and supported abroad. \"Playing for Inter would be a dream for anybody, but in South America even little children love watching their games. I\'m so happy. It\'s simply incredible to think I\'ll be playing for Inter. I can\'t wait to undergo my medical and join the group.\" After joining Porto in 2009, Pereira was part of the UEFA Europa League winning team of 2011, also claiming the Copa America with Uruguay that year. \"We\'re hoping to win lots of titles with a style that will please all the Inter fans,\" he added. \"I\'m with my friends (Walter) Gargano and (Fredy) Guarin, who will help me integrate quickly. What position will I play? At the moment I\'m just happy to be at Inter and among friends. Inter is a fantastic club.\" From : Fifa
